Vinod set up D4 & Partners in 2023 to provide holistic counsel to individuals, families and businesses looking to relocate to the United Arab Emirates. Having lived in Dubai since 1998, he has had a ring-side view of the growth of this amazing city and country. D4’s clients benefit from the deep personal and professional insights Vinod has gained over a quarter of a century, enabling them to make informed decisions on a whole host of subjects.

Whilst proud of his Indian heritage, he has lived in the Middle East for thirty years during which time, he has resisted getting trapped in a silo by establishing enduring connections within the Emirati community. Vinod is a congenital optimist and believes at his core that in the end, things will all work out.

Vinod and his homemaker wife have two lovely and multi-faceted daughters, both of whom were born and raised in Dubai.

Smitha joined D4 & Partners at its inception and brings her expertise to bear to ensure that all client related operational matters are handled with utmost professionalism. She is in a sense, the ‘lady of the house’, always ensuring a warm and cheerful aura for clients and guests alike so that they can open up and share their needs and aspirations in a secure environment.

She is also responsible for the firm’s interface with its external partners and associates, a task she carries out with both firmness and tact. Smitha has an infectious enthusiasm, graceful manner and positive energy which she freely passes on to everyone she interacts with.

Smitha and her engineer husband have two smart and energetic young boys who constantly teach her the powers of negotiation and patience!
